These terms apply when you use theplaybook.cloud, the THE PLAYBOOK progressive web app, printables, and related pages. If you do not agree, do not use the product.
1. What this product is
THE PLAYBOOK helps families keep daily notes, spot patterns, and print a one-page summary. It is a self-help organiser. It is not a medical device, not clinical software, and not professional advice.
2. Who may use it
You must be 18 or over, or have a parent/guardian’s permission if you are 16–17. The app is for adults supporting a child or themselves. Do not create an account for a child under 16.
3. Your logs
You own the notes you type. On this version they stay on the device unless you export them, print them, or publish a Community post. You are responsible for what you write and for who can unlock the device.
Export a backup from the app if the notes matter. Clearing the browser, changing phones, or losing the device can delete local logs. We are not liable for lost device-only data.
4. The £2.99 unlock
Tracking is free. Insights, the professional report, Discover extras, Community posting and printables packs are unlocked with a one-time payment of £2.99 (or the price shown at checkout). There is no subscription.
Payment is taken by Stripe. After payment, this device is marked unlocked. If you also have an account, we attach the unlock to that account so you can sign in on another device.
Because this is a digital product delivered immediately, refunds are only given if the unlock fails to apply and we cannot fix it. Email Theplaybookhome@gmail.com within 14 days with the payment receipt.
5. Accounts
Keep your password to yourself. You may request account deletion by email. Community posts must not include another child’s full name, school, address, or photos of children who are not yours without permission. We may remove posts that are abusive, spam, or unsafe.
6. Printables and brand
Printables are for your family’s personal use. Do not resell the PDFs or the THE PLAYBOOK name. The name, layout and artwork stay our IP.
7. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break the site, scrape it aggressively, impersonate us, or use it to harm a child. We may block access if we have to.
8. Availability
The app is provided “as is”. Hosting, browsers and networks fail sometimes. We will try to keep it working but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise we are not liable for decisions you make from logs or insights, or for school/GP outcomes. Use professional services for medical or education decisions.
Our total liability for a paid unlock is limited to the amount you paid us for that unlock.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest still apply.
